Egrets at Sprite Island

Every evening at Sprite Island in Norwalk, CT, about 100 egrets (snowy egrets and great egrets) fly in to roost up in the trees.  It can look like LaGuardia Airport with all of the circling birds.  After they find their spots, they typically argue with their neighbors, and I assume they are saying, “You’re too close to me!” or, “That’s my branch!”  Eventually, they are overcome by sleep.
